Here comes the sun…

The sun causes global warming.

Sun was out yesterday morning so I went out for a walk. Up the bridlepath through the woods to the top of the hill, then down to the Old Village church, and a few miles along the Grand Union Canal towpath, to the lockside pub for a lunchtime pint.

If this is the bench, it looks OK to me.

Here comes the sun and I said…


Amidst all this doom and gloom and the grey surroundings of a zombie bank, I just saw the sun shining through the window and was inspired to go outside and drink my cuppa. For the first time this year the sun’s actually high enough in the sky to give you that warm feeling on your face, in that brief interlude between the clouds. Cheers me up no end. Summer’s coming, and that restores my faith in life.

I’m in a good mood now, so don’t spoil it!
