    Spoilsport !

If we are to have a sparring match before going home time, at least pay me the courtesy of reading between the lines ?

    ...masturbatory fantasy...you came first...

    pah forget it.

If your debating technique is anything like your love-making, shall we just skip to the post-coital cigarette ?
Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.

I think you should see a doctor.

You've come right out the other side of the forest of irony and ended up in the desert of wrong.

I did, and he said that it's terminal.

There's absolutely nothing he can do for you.

            I agree.

            He also said:

Never argue with an idiot. He will drag you down to his level and then beat you by experience.

              Indeed.

Thank you for demonstrating his advice succinctly.

I expect you'd stay up all night fashioning witty rejoinders, but I have a dinner party to go to.

                Bye!

Ah, you were only here for the 5 minute argument, and not the full half hour ?

Have a pleasant evening and enjoy your meal.

My, my...business as usual it seems on CUK.

My sympathy to DC and family, and others...which doesn't amount to more than a hill of beans in this world when they face things I and others hope they never have to deal with.

Commiserations via Facebook, MySpace, Twitter, CUK etc, at the end of the day it might be nice, but it doesn't amount for much compared to a few good friends, two good friends, or even just one good person who knows you in the real world...especially when interspersed with stupidity and bullying from those who proclaim such things.

                    Have a nice evening BM...

I assumed BCG was making a serious point in his original post. But, given his usual laconic and witty style, it did come over as slightly comical.

I guess that must be what Bogeyman found objectionable. But it just shows how easily misunderstandings can arise on forums like this.
