That looks very similar to a cake recipe. I like cakes and might be tempted to make some cakes instead.

You're welcome. Was watching Sunday morning tv on BBC2 and some fella cooked some really nice (well they looked nice) crispy pancakes with lamb mince that looked to be a great hangover cure.

Pancake mix is dead easy - its the same as yorkshire pud mix and EVERYONE knows how to make them........ don't they?
