Ahh JC the truth hurts doesn't it ? I admit the world isn't always ready for my words, especially the fallen and the weak. Many of you have built your careers on an excrement of coding. But that's all it is, manure to throw at the fan fare.

Best description I ever heard of this web site.
I am not qualified to give the above advice!

Is software development an art or a science...?

As for you Jabber, you've tried so many times before to wind up the developers who frequent this board. It doesn't work, we're wise to your infantile little games.

Neither, it is just a trade, like plumbing or shopkeeping.

Try and compare you current code dump with the works of Leonardo da Vinci or Albert Einstein and you will see waht I mean JC. In fact just give me one significant achievement in software development in the last 30 years and I'll give you a cream bun.

Try posting on this bulletin board without software! Go on!
The single biggest step forward of recent years is the internet. As with the computer, it may run on hardware, but all that hardware is just junk without the software to make it run.
To use your analogy earlier, the works of leonardo and picasso are just so much paint and canvas without their talents.

BTW Plumbers are tradesmen or (from older language) artisans, guess where that is derived from.

My code is a lot better to look at and a site more artisitic than Emmin or Hirsts works.

WHAT, another programming langauge or OS to revolutionize the world. Is that the best you can do ? I might have given you a bun if you had mentioned Turing or Dikjstra, but that is computer science and not the software development you chimpanzees get up to.

Turing died more than 30 years ago.

What's wrong Jabber? Didn't you make the grade? You sound almost as bitter as Threaded.

Oh I made the grade JC, and I went beyond it. You have to go through the sewage to see the sh*t, as it were.
