The fact is that if you want a job and are flexible and willing to try new roles - there are jobs available.

In the UK you can still start your own business with comparitive ease - certalinly compared to the EU states.

But if you are stuck in the mindset that I will only do such and such and are inflexible and prefer benefits to starting your own business - then you're on your own.

Science isn't about why, it's about why not. You ask: why is so much of our science dangerous? I say: why not marry safe science if you love it so much. In fact, why not invent a special safety door that won't hit you in the butt on the way out, because you are fired. - Cave Johnson

Yes but the fact is that if you are in a job - it is easier to move on to another job which provides more pay.

There are Jobs available - but it seems some people are lacking in motivation.

Really? What evidence is there for this assertion?

So we end up with a nation of supermarket employees who will only ever shop at supermarkets. Sounds great.....

You expect me to give up washing cars just to work in a supermarket?
Who has time? Who has time? But then if we do not ever take time, how can we ever have time?
