    Oops, checked again and my previous post was incorrect. That's the last time I attempt some research to be helpful.

    Although I stand by my view that because the OP doesn't want to be a contractor then it is not worth getting hung up on the opt in/opt out matter now.

    I do however detect the whiff here of temps being pushed down the umbrella company route so that the agency doesn't take them on as an employee, meaning the agency is sticking two fingers up at the government's legislation to give temps more rights.
