And what exactly is wrong with an "ad hominem" argument? Dodgy Agent, 16-5-2014 -
just received an email from insurance co.
"As discussed, please can you send us proof of ownership for the laptop. This should ideally be an original purchase receipt but if you don’t have this, please send any other documents such as a credit card bill, manual or packaging, which show that you owned the (items being claimed). We will contact you within 5 working days of receiving this to discuss the next steps with you. Please remember you have a policy excess of £50, which will apply to any replacement that we may agree."
as i cant wait 5 days for a decision i've gone and bought a new laptop, does anybody know if they will simply pay the insurance claim value if i show ive replaced the laptop or am i going to be stuck with a 2nd laptop?The proud owner of 125 Xeno Geek PointsComment
