To MaryPoppins, if you want to give your child an "interesting" name, why not give them a "normal" middle name so they can use the one they prefer.

For example, my real Christian names are Barrett Xerxes Obadiah

Thank the Lord my folks had the sense to make one of them "normal" !!

I like Lucy (Whoops) thats a kind of twist on an old classic.

Does the registry office allow brackets though ?

Yeah, the Kinks song connection has occured to me, but hey ho. My fave song is Layla (Eric Clapton) but I don't like that name.

          Is that really your name?!
Practically perfect in every way....there's a time and (more importantly) a place for malarkey.

He carried on playing amateur rugby at Windsor rugby club, but had a nasty accident a couple of years ago and suffered brain damage; don't know if he's got back to playing yet.

Shame, great player and one of the nice guys in a game where too many top players are starting to get a bit cocky.

It's also a shame that more of the top internationals don't carry on as amateurs, but maybe they all think they're too good for that. He never thought he was too good for any team; the mark of a truly great player.

How about a nice old fashioned name like Fanny? It's memorable and would go especially well with a surname like Galore. I've not thought about girls names yet.
