That (Conair) was one good movie - very underated.

It's aged quite badly though. Only watched it because I seemed to remember it being alright when it was originally released.

Then again, I used to like all the Stallone/Arnie (won't try and spell shwartzaniggger!) action movies of the 80s. I suppose tastes change over time. Not sure if it's for the better, there's little on TV or cinema these days that doesn't seem dumb.

on a side note I watched Die Hard 4 for my sins on Sky again - that movie is just crazy - like how they put bombs in PCs which then are activated by viruses, and how someone can take over the entire US grid and not be tracked inside of USA?!...even though they are communicating via satellites...I was half expecting Osama Bin Laden to be the baddy!

Yeah you should watch Independence Day where they upload a virus to the alien mothership and they all blow up. Of course the aliens had no firewalls, used common earth network protocols, or bluetooth, etc.. worst film EVER.

Yeah, another film that could have been a true classic if they hadn't gone for the typical Hollywood dumbed down route.

I knew it was going to be disappointingly predictable when the President says he used to be a fighter pilot, as part of a general conversation early on in the film.
