Obama appears to be doing all the right things. He's just hired an ex-noble physics laureate. So they will be looking at energy solutions, as we should be doing. And I'm not referring to attending to minor issues such as global warming. -
Consumption is going to drop (10% oil in US) and so will living standards, maybe this will help cut down waste.Originally posted by TimberWolf View PostConsumption is growing at around 3% a year IIRC, so this would take a global effort or a technology breakthrough. Good luck there.Comment

Have you noticed how "global warming" has very quietly become "climate change" after it was pointed out that Mars is heating up too?Originally posted by TimberWolf View Post...And I'm not referring to attending to minor issues such as global warming.
Funny that.Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able? Then he is not omnipotent. Is he able, but not willing? Then he is malevolent. Is he both able and willing? Then whence cometh evil? Is he neither able nor willing? Then why call him God? - EpicurusComment

Agree - his team is actually impressive and for once you can actually see people who talk SENSE but were ignored by the previous.Originally posted by TimberWolf View PostObama appears to be doing all the right things. Scarey that he is doing the right thing! Almost makes it unbeleiveable - hence why I beleive the real reason is obviously not relying on external Oil sources. Plus they know that if they do have SOMETHING it will be exported globally and WILL be worth Trillions.....I guess the Race just became more official to finding it or releasing it.Comment
