It is quite true. In Denmark, you pay less tax than in the UK, and get way better services in return.

Forgot to mention: in Denmark they're also planning on removing the higher tax rate for high earners completely. So there'll be just one rate for everyone.

Higher rate should be 65%, but hardly anyone actually pays it as there are various allowances, for most higher rate earners it is actually 40%, and will go down with the proposed changes.
