Ha ha! Something to ponder upon though is that even with the current bumper TV deal available to the EPL, at least 16 out of the 20 sides are servicing colossal debts. When that deal expires at the end of next season and the revised one takes over, then we will see what a "minor league" really is. A huge percentage of the current EPL teams face a future that might see them being knocked out of the FA Cup by the likes of Histon, even before London hosts the Olympics.Originally posted by TonyEnglish View PostWhy?
