I helpfully tested the new swearing filter when it was introduced, and also wrote a rude (ish) word using dancing bananas to get round it.

I did point out that the new filter had broken PMs, though because it had replaced the word "title" with "petalle" IIRC, but it was not enough to spare me.

Seems to me a banning was probably at the lower end of the punishment scale.
