He was banned, and didnt seem to come backThe court heard Darren Upton had written a letter to Judge Sally Cahill QC saying he wasn’t “a typical inmate of prison”.
But the judge said: “That simply demonstrates your arrogance continues. You are typical. Inmates of prison are people who are dishonest. You are a thoroughly dishonestly man motivated by your own selfish greed.”Comment

I can't express an opinion, since I only know "new CUK" (assuming that "old CUK" is prior to October 2006).
I have no idea what CUK with andyW was like, since it was either before my time or before I regularly read / posted.
I have no idea what old CUK was like, apart from how great milan says it was, which makes me think that it was, perhaps, not so great.
So, I abstain, but blame the newbies anyway.Comment

It was pretty much the same as now, even more moany though. Still the same cyber fights and Mr Muscle armchair warrirors who think they are more witty than the last, but on the whole a more rounded bunch of posters, some even willing to question the status quo, which upsets the likes of Milan. Andyw wasn't here that long nor was he that impressive. He's become infamous through SASguru putting his name on every poll. The court heard Darren Upton had written a letter to Judge Sally Cahill QC saying he wasn’t “a typical inmate of prison”.

In the name of Davros! I am not Richard AF, DBA Bloke, The Man from Del Monte, or anyone else! You are fixated with these characters. What did they do to you? Actually, I don't care.Originally posted by Bagpuss View PostSounds like he's had a slap from admin. Didn't think it would be long, Richard AF didn't last long the first time.Comment

No - he was given a warning, and decided to go.Originally posted by Bagpuss View PostHe was banned, and didnt seem to come back
He's not banned (http://forums.contractoruk.com/members/richard-af.html) and if you look at his last post, it was a warning rather than a ban he got.
Unless you are confusing him with DBA_Bloke who was banned at the same time as I was, for the same thing (albeit worse), in the same thread.Comment
