    I've had some wierd skin allergy thing (very sexy) for the last few weeks and I've been waiting for login details to come.
    So I got them yesterday (after about 9 days).

    You log in with a reference number, the password provided and your year of birth.

    It TOLD me what clinic I had to go to (no choice), and then I had to click on a button to "Choose and Book" appointment....

    This directed me to the phone number of the clinic!

    So I've waited 10 days to be given a phone number.

    Genius
    If all the consultants relevant to your condition uploaded their available slots to the system then you would have had a choice. If they don't.....

    The system is there but it's a case of getting some of the older clinicians to accept change.

      That's not Choose and book that the OP was referring to - that's a local GP system.

        An appointment. Yes. I know what that is, but the docs seem to have some trouble with the concept.

        When you said "Not true" I thought you were telling minestrone that the stored proc would write itself.

          The bleedin DBA's going to need a Doctor if I ever get hold of him

          stopdate column name -> SCSTE_FLFRMT_STPDT
          startdate column name -> SCSTE_FLFRMT_STRDT

          Totally obvious and readable. Don't get me started on his refusal to use primary keys, yes seriously.

          Probably worked on the NHS system
