He is very rich in the industry where lots of his competitors ended up dead. It's a reasonable question that he explains how exactly he managed to survive and end up on the top rather than in the grave like all his key competitors.

More to the point - he can't get visa to the US due to alleged links to organised crime. There are not many rich people who can't get US visa, that alone should have promoted Osborne to avoid visiting his ship, in fact Cons frontbench can and should talk about investment, however it should not be done on private boats, they should do that during their normal work time. Same applies to Mandelson who I hope 3rd time around will end up in jail.

And it was his competitors who got killed in the 90s. Why wasn't he? His competitors were not killed by jealous wifes, they got shot from sniper rifles or blown by bombs. We are not talking about one or two men here, many dozens were killed like this - even in the 90s with all the brutality alluminium industry was considered too criminal, in fact it was controlled at some point by local criminals (that is convicted people), somehow that guy ended up on top, why is that, perhaps his charisma? Maybe his Eton education?

That guy is very closely connected to Kremlin and thus Putin. Osborne was crazy even meet him, yet alone talk at all and certainly not even mention donations of any kind.

Frankly, maybe Camerson should fire him and offer Vince Cable the job - go to elections in part with Lib Dems, this would destruct utterly labour and actually give sensible respected person as the Chancellor.

Why US won't issue him visa you think? There are very rich few people in Russia who can't get visa to US despite all their money, he is one of them and I'd say from the top rich people I think he is the only one.
