It was undergoing a run due to HMG leaking rumours to the BBC. Break-up value would have been considerable, even if no HMG funding was forthcoming. The fact that 15 Billion of debt has been paid off in 9 months says it all. I await the Judicial Review in January with great interest !!

I heard the same rumour, in the pub. Guaranteed 100% fact.

My mate's brother's former roomie from University once bumped into Gordon Brown's driver, and he said that he's heard the opposite.
