Nearly 7% on the Dow. S&P off 8.75% and the NASDAQ 9.14% !
Still, I've seen worse.
Bloomberg are saying that the amount wiped off shares was about 50% larger than the size of the bail-out package.
How did this happen? Who's to blame? Well certainly there are those more responsible than others, and they will be held accountable, but again truth be told, if you're looking for the guilty, you need only look into a mirror.
