I was thinking of the Sony STRDA 5400ES and the KEF IQ range set (2xIQ50's, 4xIQ30, IQ60c, PSW2500) of speakers..

That's some nice kit there - I'm probably not qualified to comment on anything in that price range given my rather humble setup of a Denon AVR-2307, 5 x Gallo Nucleus Micro's and a BK XLS200-DF MK2 sub.

Regarding Home Cinema Receiver, I don't have the specifics, but Pioneers recent offerings are meant to be pretty tasty.
