You poor sod. I guess it's the old story - need to drill a hole in a piece of wood, no bench handy, so just pop the wood on your lap and start drilling... Happens all the time.
Ah yeah, that was an unlucky day. I have spent so much money on that drill. It was a Black&Decker, very expensive, now it's completely destroyed.
I've seen much of the rest of the world. It is brutal and cruel and dark, Rome is the light.
I can imagine Franco as a boy, with a thick jumper and shorts, running through the narrow streets of old Rome, peeking on Monica Bellucci clones as they wash.
Lucifer, on the other hand, has always existed fully grown, forever clad in a leather jacket.
Autom...Sprow...Canna...Tik banna...Sandwol...But no sera smee

I always imagined Franco to be a bit more like this as a youngster, which explains why he was bullied so much.
And here's me, on the mean streets of Birmingham, resplendent in my leather coat, latin prep in hand.

What's wrong with that boy? I haven't be bullied much, Lucifer, only a couple of times. I am normally too smart for anyone whose IQ is higher than 50 or so. However, a couple of times happened to find troglodytes with even lower IQs. But only few times really.
I remember one episode in the states with a guy from New Zealand who was literally the most gigantic man I have ever come accross (about 6'6'' and 250 pounds probably). We were in a hostel place, and he was completely drank and angry but I managed to calm it down and he said that I was too smart to be beaten up. He let me go and then started beating up everybody else around. They had to called 8 policemen to stop him. I was very proud of me at that time (and perhaps good that I am still alive ).

To be fair, Franco, being smarter than someone with an IQ of 50 isn't too tricky (except maybe for David Contractor Jr / Chico / Jabberwocky) but I for one am glad you are still alive. The board would be a duller place without your southern European perspective on all things contractor related. That being house prices and religion, of course. Oh, and you not being a contractor, but you know what I mean.

Funny that my views on contracting, housing and religion is just as english as yours.
P.s. And I am a contractor, just preparing myself to the latest stage of my lifetime contracting before retiring.
