    Interesting stuff...thanks.

We're fortunate that we have a long roof which faces south west and is a bit of a sun trap (when we actually get some sun that is). Plus we are pretty open here...so I am wondering if a combination of wind turbines and solar panels would be the way to go. This geothermal thing looks interesting too.

I also like the idea that it seems to put 10% on the value of the house if you do it right. Cha-ching!! (ignoring the thousands that it costs to install the things of course)

Been scouring the 'net to see if there are any decent "energy consultants" out there who come out and look at you property and advise accordingly. From what I've seen they seem to know about as much about it as I do...which obviusly isn't much.

    A possible plan B I guess....
Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able? Then he is not omnipotent. Is he able, but not willing? Then he is malevolent. Is he both able and willing? Then whence cometh evil? Is he neither able nor willing? Then why call him God? - Epicurus
