    I had never heard of Asda - I did a quick google and found that, instead of getting deliveries from Ocado, there are actually places where one can purchase things! I must try this sometime.

    Actually, maybe not. Any chance of bumping into the great unwashed - not a chance! I shall send the gf there instead.....

      Wearing the squirrel costume can make one a bit hot and smelly. Not that I would know of course.

          I had never been in an Asda until a couple of years ago when I was doing a bit of work near Newcastle. I needed a couple of things and saw an Asda as I was driving back to the hotel and popped in. Never again, what a tulip shop, tulip customers, tulip products and I thought German supermarkets were bad
          Brexit is having a wee in the middle of the room at a house party because nobody is talking to you, and then complaining about the smell.

            They do very nice freshly baked bread though

            I use it because it's closest.

                  Pet hates: all foreigners, gypsies, benefits cheats, tax collectors, Labour, but, most of all:

                  Motherless f--ks* who think I'm some sort of book rest whilst reading their garbage-filled free Tube newspaper, and then chuck it down, pretty much anywhere, once finished crucifying their microscopic brains learning about Sienna Miller's latest riveting plight. The scum-ridden, antisocial bumrags. God, how I hate them all.

                  * a la "The Sopranos"

                    Why, is she "a bit whiffy" too?

                    The vegetarian option.

                      I hate pets.

                      Pointless, expensive and smelly.
