I'm back from Tunisa 2 weeks ago. Cheap as chips. Check Hammamet or Djerba. Fly BA or Tunis Air. (Not to Djerba though, you'll have to get a connection). Great ruins at Carthage. Go see the star wars set in the sahara.

Although I imagine there are many - nicer - destinations for the same budget.Science isn't about why, it's about why not. You ask: why is so much of our science dangerous? I say: why not marry safe science if you love it so much. In fact, why not invent a special safety door that won't hit you in the butt on the way out, because you are fired. - Cave JohnsonComment

Tunisia is horrible. It is cheap cos it sucks. I've been a few times. It is sooooo dull and ugly too.Originally posted by Incognito View PostI'm back from Tunisa 2 weeks ago. Cheap as chips. Depends where you go and what you do. I stayed in the Sheraton the first time and Radisson the Second. Great hotels. Tunisia sucks if you go into the towns. Stay in the resorts.Originally posted by DimPrawn View PostTunisia is horrible. It is cheap cos it sucks. I've been a few times. Depends what you want. I've bust my ankle, I wanted a week of sun. Cheap.Originally posted by oracleslave View PostSounds like a blast
The first time, I wanted watersports (not that kind) and wanted to see Carthage and grab some sun. Can't knock 38C in June. I'm off to Belize and Brazil in January, can't afford that all the time, good to alternate. Cheap with Not so cheap.
The hotels do all the usual, Jet-skis, waterskiing, Para-gliding, sailing, kite sailing, etc"I hope Celtic realise that, if their team is good enough, they will win.
