Well done. I'd hold out for more though as you should never accept the first offer.

Mathematical modeller is a broad term. I create statistical models, if only it payed that well.
The court heard Darren Upton had written a letter to Judge Sally Cahill QC saying he wasn’t “a typical inmate of prison”.

But the judge said: “That simply demonstrates your arrogance continues. You are typical. Inmates of prison are people who are dishonest. You are a thoroughly dishonestly man motivated by your own selfish greed.”

Yes it is, don't need everyone jumping on the bandwagon.

I don't play with SPSS, my models represent actual working systems to determine.... nuff said.

What, did you invent your own math model, patent it, and now sell the concept to businesses to show them something they can't see unless they pay the ransom?

The figure is nice, but if it's only a 5 day contract or so, then the maths kind of balance out I guess.

I think I'm on £1100 a day, but unfortunatly that's what my client co are charging me out at, I'm more like half that.

From one modeller (well part of the skillset anyhow + control eng/ model based diagnostics, etc) to another congrats on the contract rate.

It's nice to know. I am only being offeed £25/hr currently. I think the agent is mistaking me for a whore and trying to .........

At five days a week =£5500

*26 weeks (who need hols at that rate) = £143,000.

                      Fantastic.

I'm sure you have already worked this out though.
