Take a stopwatch to the bogs this afternoon and time yourself having a dump.
Then calculate how much that has cost your client.
You'll feel so much better afterwards, trust me.

As one of my sidelines I occasionally write music for fruit machines. Find the most bizarre things in those cabinets.

OP - if your current gig makes you feel like this, then use your networks, use the dull time at the damn keyboard to land yourself an alternative offer, then either leave at the end of your contract or use the offer to bag yourself a hefty raise. I'd be tempted to leave. A change is as good as a holiday, they say...

                  oooh... i like your thinking
Eeyore was very glad to be able to stop thinking for a little, in order to say "How do you do" in a gloomy manner to Pooh.
"And how are you?" said Winnie-the-Pooh.
Eeyore shook his head from side to side. "Not very how," he said. "I don't seem to felt at all how for a long time."

I was just going to post a new thread on this exact same topic. Have got the same feeling of "what's it all about?"

There's only one true answer/reply to this: stop messing around, get back billing.
