Translation: some new female manager has come in and sussed me already. I feel emasculated in her presence. The court heard Darren Upton had written a letter to Judge Sally Cahill QC saying he wasn’t “a typical inmate of prison”.
But the judge said: “That simply demonstrates your arrogance continues. You are typical. Inmates of prison are people who are dishonest. You are a thoroughly dishonestly man motivated by your own selfish greed.” -

Hardly - she's crap and is already on her way to a big cock-up. I intend to help her on her way.Originally posted by Bagpuss View PostTranslation: some new female manager has come in and sussed me already. I feel emasculated in her presence.

I hope you mean by not giving her the benefit of your experience? Any attempt to help can backfire - well it did for me once! I had to do some fast talking to get out of that hole...Originally posted by sasguru View PostI intend to help her on her way.

My last permie manager was a woman, and she was the most able, personable and focused manager I've known.
Generalisation are both unwise and lazy.
Having said that, she was quite fit, so that may have coloured my view.Comment
