    'Tis true. Someone I know worked for local gov a few years back and used it in a meeting. He was taken to one side afterwards and told it's frowned upon. "Thought shower" or something was suggested as an alternative.

      It's obvious. In this PC day and age, talking about brainstorming excludes those people who don't have brains.
