People who wear freebie vendors polo shirts at work
There are two exceptions when it's allowed. The first is if you're not planning to be seen in public. The second is if you're decorating or partaking in another activity that would get your regular clothes soiled.
Does going out and drinking till you vomit class as an activity that would get your regular clothes soiled?

Not a bit - I thought it was a very sound point and well worth making.
I'll look out for sad gits wearing polo shirts round here, but I don't think many people play polo in Brentwood, and come to think of it I'm not sure what a polo shirt looks like.
They've all got them at my current site, purple for local permies, blue for central office permies, thus if you're not wearing one they all know you are contractor scum !
