    Condemns them to what though?

A mild verbal admonishment, or a brutal execution by beheading or stoning.

Or is that bit open to interpretation?

You've come right out the other side of the forest of irony and ended up in the desert of wrong.

To be fair I was paraphrasing. But I don't think that was too far off what it said.
"Experience hath shewn, that even under the best forms of government those entrusted with power have, in time, and by slow operations, perverted it into tyranny. "

Yes but what did it say, and what did it mean?

To be 'condemned' could mean many things.

Given that it's in the context of the Koran I'd fear the worst.

lol, that is the prince of insults.

there's that bit in the gospel of St Paul (i shouldn't know this) which says people who are "effeminate" will be damned to eternal hell-fire or somesuch (this is often pointed to by rabid gay-bashing fundamentalists). seems pretty harsh to me, i mean that could just mean having a soft voice, nice hands, good listener etc.

Yes, but it could also mean that you are Graham (I'm the Biggest Nancy) Norton
