Agent rebate - still waiting - help

I am amazed you let the agency sort out the rate. Personally I would have sorted it out myself.

If there was a rebate, why didn't you get this written into the contract?

i told agent what rate i was expecting and to be honest they got me a rate slightly higher, not much but better than what i was asking!

They said rebate is between me and agency and i should not tell anyone else!

Is that because there is a set margin that agent is supposed to work at?
