There are a fair amount opportunities around bristol.. few finance companies have their retail arm HQs around there, LloydsTSB (gigged there for a while) and AXA are two of the main ones. There are a few large telecoms companies about too I think.

I believe there are also quite a few smaller companies, consultancies, agencies etc around the Aztec West (where the M4 meets the M5) area, but haven't really been up that way myself - I do know you need to be prepared for a mauling from traffic every day tho!

Don't know about .net specifically but most large co's have atleast some projects in this nowadays, surely.
It's about time I changed this sig...

For one potential gig in the centre of Bristol it's been recommended I get the train in rather than attempt to drive.

Not too fussed about it being in Bristol itself. My relatives are a good half hour east of Bristol so places like Swindon and maybe Southampton or Portsmouth are potentials too.

I'll keep an eye on the opportunities in that region in the next week or two and see if anything turns up before I get tempted by something else instead.
Feist - 1234. One camera, one take, no editing. Superb. How they did it

I spent a couple of days at a client's office in Gloucester, long before all the floods. It was slightly better than the location of their other office near London, but not by much.

At least further south in Wiltshire and surrounding area it's still like olde England, even if the locals do have a comedy accent.

Is that the place where they speak like pirates?
Don't ask Beaker. He's just another muppet.

Close enough. Not quite as bad as Devon and Somerset, but you can tell they're all related, if not inbred.

PAH - Not sure if you are a tester - if so, TCL are a good testing consultancy in Bristol (Aztec), and I think have a fair few contracts around the area.
