    No.

Bliar is a liar and it's been barely a year since he is gone - he escaped very light.

Lack of experience - and it shows

If it weren't for her husband, Hillary could have been out of the race already. Bill Clinton was the only President that could have genuinely won 3 terms if he were allowed! Al Gore can blame Florida etc, but he lost because he wanted to cut all ties with him.
With Bill as her mentor and coach, some of his huge popularity with the voters and (still) with the superdelegates (2:1 in her favour) who are most likely to swing it, she's still in it with a shot. Nothing personally against him, but Obama makes good speeches about Iraq and the climate, however what is he going to do about the economy, by far the biggest issue for the US electorate. Nothing concrete said yet. Also he seems to shy away from debates, whereas she thrives in confrontation. Rubbishing the war (when it seems to finally have had some positive results) is not going to make him popular, given that something like 20% of the electorate has someone in the military or the defence industry. I think even he wins for the Democrats, he is perceived as too far to the left for the mainstream American voter that he will not ultimately succeed. Another Dukakis in the making.

No - FDR would have won a third term.

        And possibly Grover Cleveland.

I agree. It should never be forgotten how much Blair lied, especially after promising to be 'whiter than white' in his post-election day speech and also saying that they would not raise taxes. He brought politics into far more disrepute than any other UK politician in history. New Lie have been shown to be nothing but 'champagne socialists', even more so in view of the latest expenses scandals.
Hopefully, we shall see some return to honesty with a new Tory government, if they get the chance.

Maybe Tories would be even worse in terms of corruption and secretary shagging - but at least they won't tax as much.

Electorate should always keep the ruling party under pressure - regardless who they are, and there should always be good opposition hungry for power.

Though I have to say I am so disgusted with the Labour that I just can't see myself ever voting for those ******ers.

That wasn't digging at the tories, or labour as such. More politicians in general. People in positions of power invariably have a tendency to do the wrong thing from what I've seen.

I reckon the whole nature of being a politician breeds dishonesty, scheming, backstabbing etc etc. Not all of them, btu enough I don't trust any of the greedy fcks..

Politicians will abuse the system only as much as electorate allows them - people should get off their arses and vote.

For who? You can only vote for politicians. If enough people stay on their arses and not vote, then the message might get through that we need better politicians.

FWIW, I've seen Hilary on Letterman a couple of times before the campaign, and was very impressed with her. I thought she was a genuinely intelligent politician with some substance, who would do good things if she gets to be president. Unfortunately I don't think we're seeing the best of her in the campaign; she's having to play politics. If Obama wins (which I suspect he will), we'll realise that he's not good at anything other than the campaign, and we'll have another "W".
Will work inside IR35. Or for food.

In this country anyone can try to become MP - total number of votes to win is not that high, so people should vote for people then.
