Won't cure your back, but the money will take your mind off it.
Some people are like slinkys, totally pointless but the thought of pushing them down a flight of stairs never fails to put a smile on your face.

I bought a Waterlattex one a few years back, which is mid-range. Helps by back no end, and would recommend.

Double for £279 at the moment if you shop around.

My back is really bad at present, so thinking about it.....

Just wondering if it is a wise move, or not!
get a futon if your back is bad - foam will make it worse

Save money and kip on the floor instead.

Or get a pallet from somewhere - the futon is an awful invention.

Tempur is stupidly hot - retains heat, just about bearable in winter - horrible in summer. I always wake up with backache on ours as well and I don't have a bad back - I've actually been getting a better nights sleep squashed in my daughter toddler bed with her while she has been poorly and lonely than I get on the Tempur!!

I had a bad back - got a sleepezee brompton backcare mattress, 1000 pocket springs. It's bloomin marvellous, completely sorted all sleep discomfort. Not cheap though*.

A medium-firm mattress takes a bit of getting used to, but don't skimp on shoes or mattress/bed quality - as someone once said, you're in one or the other all day, every day.
