phew, I could cope with an extra hit on my kids Gucci nappies, but having to take an extra hit on the cost of delivering them to my local sell fridges would be a step too farLet us not forget EU open doors immigration benefits IT contractors more than anyoneComment

Someone on BBC's Have Your Say made an interesting comment the other day about the budget (I paraphrase):
Very good point I thought.I'd like to see just one single measure that would improve the lives of single, working people with no kids.
You've come right out the other side of the forest of irony and ended up in the desert of wrong.

What would I like to see?
1. Less spent on benefit and asylum seekers.
2. More spent on NHS, schools, armed forces, PROPER police (not CSO's) and less on computers and CCTV / speed cameras that CAN'T replace these people.
3. Less raiding of our income, make this up with less MP expenses!
4. Less fuel tax
5. Save money by not printing leaflets for councils in anything other than ENGLISH (the last time I looked that was the language of this country).
6. Less money spent on consultation.
[nervball], The pathetic PC Human Rights obsessed excuse for a country that used to be England, United Kingdom
Except for No 4

By not having to pish a disproportionately large chunk of your earnings away in tax to support the non-working, many-offspringed loungers and idlers who this government bends over backwards to encourage.Originally posted by dang65 View PostHow could you possibly improve on that though?
