I have relatives (not immediate family) who are diabetics, some in very bad condition because they didn't use the insulin properly, such as eating as much as they wanted then just using more insulin afterwards. Last time I was tested (admittedly a few years ago now) I was fine.

Does the panel think diabetes is so prevalent these days because of a dodgy gene pool or bad diet? Either way I may be screwed!

That's exactly how I was trained by my DSN to use insulin!

Maybe I got it wrong. Maybe not!

All I know is they abused the insulin administration procedures to an extent where their health has deteriorated at a much faster rate than expected. Maybe they're just unlucky, but a cousin of mine who used to knock back bottles of full-fat pepsi may not be totally without blame.

My knowledge of this topic is at best limited so don't go panicking over anything I say, ever!
Feist - 1234. One camera, one take, no editing. Superb. How they did it

        No panic here.

In moving around the country I have learned that whatever any DSN tells you about your treatment is going to be the complete opposite of what the previous one told you.

It seems there are too many 'experts' giving advice on how best to treat diabetes and the advice we end up with greatley depends on who has published the most recent study results.......

But knocking back full sugar pop and balancing it with insulin probabally is a bit OTT, even for me!

Unfortunately that was in the late 90s before CUK was around, or it would probably have topped the list.
At one clients I was told that I used more internet resource than the rest of their business (100's of people) put together, but again that was before I found Contractoruk....

I had a friend who called a horse racing results line. left phone off hook. £120 pound phone bill. Even an IB notices that!

He offered to pay it - but they accepted it as a honest mistake.

I used to work for a company that made dealing room systems.

The story at one of the places that they installed was, one of the traders dialed into CapitalRadio (@ 50ppm) forgot to hang up and then went on holiday for 2 weeks.
