Whilst I like a teaspoon of sugar in my tea and coffee, I don't class myself as a sweet-tooth anymore, certainly not since I was a kid. Enjoy the odd cake or dessert, but only once or twice a month.

So whilst I know I'm not getting 5 a day (I can't imagine many people do) I don't think my diet is that bad or seriously unbalanced.
Too much sugar, saturated fat, salt etc. I know loads of people who don't eat sweet food but love eating crisps.

I was watching Horizon about people who lived a long time the conclusion was (not in any order):
    1. diet high in vegetables and from the looks of the food the people where eating most of your food should be unprocessed.
    2. not stuffing your face so eating until you were 80% full
    3. having faith
    4. being able to cope with stress
    5. being active in body and mind (some of the 90 year olds on the program did more exercise then some children I know.)
    6. genes

I'm doomed then. I'd better nip out for some comfort food to lift me from this depressive realisation.

Nah you may have to find God, Allah or whatever.

Apparently religious people live approximately 10 years longer than others even if they are lazy fat gits.

Interesting if true. Does worshipping myself count?

Yes, if your name is "God" or "Allah".
              Is it?

This thread reminds me, what happened to SallyAnne?

She don't post much. Has she eloped with sasguru?

Finally landed a contract where they monitor internet activity I think.

At one of my first contracts the IT manager came out with a list of the top 30 websites people had been surfing that were obviously not work related, just to try to embarrass people, and also no doubt to make sure we knew they were watching us.

Unfortunately that was in the late 90s before CUK was around, or it would probably have topped the list.

Nope. But at least I can prove I exist. They can't.
