I saw it last night, thought it was superb, my heart was still beating fast in the car on the way home. Not for those who need a plot or conclusion to enjoy a film though. I don't need those thingsOriginally posted by TazMaN View PostDon't see Cloverfield, it's the worst movie I've seen in a long time. The entire movie is filmed from the perspective of a handheld camcorder. There is no coherent storyline and no conclusion to speak of. They never explain where the beast came from, why it was there and even if they managed to get rid of it in the end... don't waste your time!

It's "ok", my other half enjoyed it more than me. I give it 4/10Originally posted by cailin maith View PostGutted - I wanted to see that too.....
If you want a treat through, try "No country for old men"
Best film I've seen for ages. Or get "The lives of others" on DVD.

I am fully expecting inconclusiveness, lack of knowing what's going on, where things come from etc etc. It's directed by the same guy who does Lost.Originally posted by TazMaN View PostDon't see Cloverfield, it's the worst movie I've seen in a long time. What happens if your blind date from Saturday carries over to Sunday? Or are you not that optimistic?Originally posted by configman View PostSaturday: Blind date in Windsor
