What's wrong with Switzerland? I love it over there, hope to contract there someday.

      Just don't say I didn't warn you.
I've seen much of the rest of the world. It is brutal and cruel and dark, Rome is the light.

I'll bear that in mind, but could you elucidate a little ?

Ok, that was a partial joke. You might like it there, who knows? I personally find it very boring and all the rules setup for the sake of rules a true annoyance. Sure there are some benefits (lower crime, cleaner streets, trains on time, etc) but the price to pay for me is too high. Just one thing: I hope you are not a progressist person as you will feel like travelling back in time for sure (and so including all negative and positive things obviously).

              Hmmm interesting, thanks for that.

I always get a *slight* sense of claustrophobia when in Switzerland, as though there's an unspoken undercurrent. But it doesn't bother me much and the benefits, for me at least, far outweigh the negatives.

Caveat : I may nolonger think like this after working there for a year or two

The secret to the Danish happiness has been found.

They have extremely low expectations for the future.

Then when they go through a year without getting fired, divorced, beheaded and boiled they are extremely happy.

I think that is not the right way of achieving happiness.

That is one of the reasons I left that miserable country.

It's like semi-retirement: you've got the money sorted and everything nicely planned, but it's boring.
