I dunno I was no good at home economics at schoolOriginally posted by sasguru View PostDon't be a mug. That 9.5% annualised rise consists of 9 months of rising prices followed by 3 months of declining prices. What do you think the trend is and what do you think the annualised figure will be next time this year?
My prediction is -10%.Don't ask Beaker. He's just another muppet.Comment

Now that the Spanish Armada has perished I guess noone. But before Britain had to rely on scum of the earth to get even with the Spanish. That scum has since got promoted to bankers.Originally posted by sasguru View PostWHo cares about Spain.Comment

Steer clear
Property prices are and have been falling for a while over there, worst is yet to come. A lot to do with the complete lack of proper legislation as to what is legal and what not. I have personally heard a lot of nightmare scenarios and will never set foot in that country let alone invest there.Comment

Having lived in Spain for over 10 years (and affiliated with it my entire life) I would honestly NEVER buy property there again.
Spanish property laws are stupid and illogical beyond belief and their property market (In holiday areas like the coasts) is permanently stuck in Boom and Bust cycle. And with the increased competition from other Med countries and cheaper flights these days the "bust" times getting longer each cycle and the booms shorter.Comment

If you're daft enough to be sucked in by the golfer on the telly that advertises overpriced bedsits with a shared pool then yes they don't look like good value at the moment but Shirley a large sensibly priced house in the country were the Spanish live is still good value?Science isn't about why, it's about why not. You ask: why is so much of our science dangerous? I say: why not marry safe science if you love it so much. In fact, why not invent a special safety door that won't hit you in the butt on the way out, because you are fired. - Cave JohnsonComment
