It is usualy too much chilled water that does it. Or have you had a Barracuda curry?
Drink lots and lots of tea. Wash everything in bottled water (not local stff either).

I realise now what did it, I had been out all day looking at light fittings etc. and just wanted something quick on the way home. Went into a local bakery and got a chicken pastie, this was about 21.00. What I didn't think about was that it may have been sitting there about 12 hours not refrigerated
This chain is usually good and the A/C means the shop is like a fridge, but this local one, the guy leaves the door open so he can chat to the taxi drivers that hang around outside.
