Only one of the options is valid, as the others all overlap?

No - "More than £800" doesn't overlap with anything else.

It's one of the reasons that I always get that extra £1 out of agents on my daily rate. So that I know which band to vote in in CUK polls.

Look up the word 'between' in a dictionary. If you are on £400, then you select the Between £400 - £600 option. As Between £200 - £400 means £201 to £399.

Rule Number 1 - Assuming that you have a valid contract in place always try to get your poo onto your timesheet, provided that the timesheet is valid for your current contract and covers the period of time that you are billing for.

                  I preferred version 1!

Yes, that is the median, so it is slightly more ranged. Next?

                      Surely, if Between £200 - £400 means £201 to £399, between £400 - £600 means £401 - £599 by the same logic?

In which case £400 does not appear in your list.

Are you a permie working for the government by any chance? Ever thought of becoming a plumber with those logic skills...
