"Confidential details of 15 million child benefit recipients are on computer discs lost by HM Revenue and Customs, the BBC understands"

Shouldn't that read 'All' in there. i.e.

Confidential details of all 15 million child benefit recipients are on computer discs lost by HM Revenue and Customs, the BBC understands.

Think of it this way. There are 65m people here (or so). Of those a certain number are pensioners and a certain number are kids. There will be a chunk of people who have no children. That takes a large number out of the pot. My wife is the recipient of our child benefit, so for each couple only one is named. My guess is that this 15m relates to everybody who has a kid.

The useless fcekers! But it is ok as these lost CD's are not in the wrong hands. They don't know who has got them, but at least they are not in the wrong hands.
Rule Number 1 - Assuming that you have a valid contract in place always try to get your poo onto your timesheet, provided that the timesheet is valid for your current contract and covers the period of time that you are billing for.

    I preferred version 1!

          So many...
Many children live in 'workless' households with over two million (17.6 per cent) in households where there are no adults in work. In Muslim households this is even higher with more than a third of children living in households where no adult has work.

Muslim children also experience much more overcrowding (more than two in five - 41.7 per cent - compared with an average of 12.3 per cent) and one in eight live in a household with no central heating compared with the average of 5.9 per cent - one in 16.

There ARE weapons of mass destruction in Iraq. Just because you can't see them, doesn't mean they're not there.

                      Very good.

Achtung! Englander Schweinhund! Himmel! Donner und blitzen! Blitzkrieg! Spitfeuer! Aaaaarg!

That was the only conversation German I learned at school. A bit limiting when I went to work there.
