Was it Georgia?. These ex-USSR countries are all a blur to me.

Sly little kicks, elbows, punching, pinching, scratching, hair-pulling, shirt-pulling, diving, stamping, spitting, ref-baiting ... yep, the world has learned a lot from Italian football!

Those things do happen when you actually play proper football. Sure if you go for the english style kick-from-the-midfield-and-hope-it-scores then you have less chances of using those tactics.*

              * You might have missed the most recent competitions otherwise you might remember how Ballack flew in mid air for nothing in the attempt to get a foul or the brasilian guy who pretended to be hit in the face and fell on the floor or Owen doing similar things.... the list is long.
I've seen much of the rest of the world. It is brutal and cruel and dark, Rome is the light.

No, I saw all that. Like I said, the rest of the world has learned a lot from the Italians!

Apart from Owen, I just wish the English were any good at it.
