If you had any sense, they've been mandatory for a long time (esp. in Red Sea where some operators are a bit lax).

Trouble is, if you haven't been trained to use one they can f*** you up if you get it wrong. So there might be a few more bent Russians turning up.

Just get EPIRBs. Not to expensive nowadays. Probably the next bit of equipment I will invest on. Have a great time Cojak
