I know it's been posted before but... One thing PC users can do that Mac users can't
Science isn't about why, it's about why not. You ask: why is so much of our science dangerous? I say: why not marry safe science if you love it so much. In fact, why not invent a special safety door that won't hit you in the butt on the way out, because you are fired. - Cave Johnson

        And another thing...

why is it when I want to eject a mass storage device (usb stick or otherwise) XP tells me "this device cannot be ejected right now please try again later" whit!? do I have to call an Indian call centre to get permission or something?

OS x, I press the eject button and it's my pocket seconds later.

And you wonder why I lose the plot with XP, OS x just works does what I want, simple...

Yoda3D will give you a fancy graphics way of handling more desktops but the configuration options are next to none.

I seem to remember it not being built in, but a clumsy hack?
Or are we talking about something other than this?

Well you've got to let off that pent up frustration somehow

                  Lighten up.

The PC is a computer and the Mac is a fashion accessory. They both have a place in the world.

Not true. The Mac is just a much more relaible, functional version of your PC, that you can trust when online shopping not to let every man and his dog see your credit card details.....
