Nah don't fancy ParisRule Number 1 - Assuming that you have a valid contract in place always try to get your poo onto your timesheet, provided that the timesheet is valid for your current contract and covers the period of time that you are billing for.

Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!Originally posted by TonyEnglish View PostI had toyed with the idea of Brussels. Not keen on Sunderland though.
For the love of god DO NOT go to Brussels!!!
I can definately vouch for the North East of England (although I wouldn't recommend my beloved Sunderland as an anniversary treat!)
Lumley Castle in Durham is awesome - they have rooms with 2 man baths and 4 poster beds
You can sit all night next to the fire with lovely bottles of red from the cellar...
or if you want the Mrs to have a lovely pamperring break, stay at Seaham Hall. The spa there is amazing (even for blokes!), plus they have a Michelan star restaraunt, and a Thai restaraunt which is the best Thai food I've ever tasted.
Durham is a great day out, with its markets, cathedrals, castles etc. 15 mins from Newcastle. 45 mins from York.
Either way, have a lovely time. The pope is a tard.Comment

Some really nice hotels on the Lido, much cheaper and better than Venice. The trip in on the ferry in the morning to St. Marks square is the best way to arrive across the lagoon as the morning mist clears. The white aproned waiters setting the table as the sun glistened on the gold facade on the buildings. A perfect moment like stepping back in time, which could only be ruined by an American tourist asking "DO THEY HAVE MCDONNALDS HERE"Originally posted by oracleslave View PostWell she does want to see lakes so I figured Venice might be a win win.
