Be warned that they absolutely will not change their contract under any circumstances - and won't return calls or speak to our favourite contract specialists (allegedly).

They seem to be an EB and an agency...which I'm confused about.
ps - welcome back CUK
I won't go into details on a forum, but for a number of reasons, we parted company badly and I wouldn't wish them on anyone. I would rather go S3 or Ajilon than back to Xansa.
They still have me on their list, as they rang last month to see if I was available, but unless the market gets really bad I wouldn't go there again.
They are a consultancy (of sorts), with a few people who know a lot, and a few more who know very little. Apart from that, they rely on contractors and Indians to do the projects - I was team lead for the project, managing the Indians. They needed people with Oracle eBusiness Suite, CRM, and forms - they found someone who knew OM, and someone else who knew forms, and said that was the team to do the project.
If you want more details, PM me and I may be able to be more candid - I wouldn't go near them though.Comment

Had experience of them where I was working at a site where they had a preferred supplier thingy...
Overall they seem to be run in an almost nazi party fashion...
All the Xansa permies reported on any potential leads, the Xansa contractors were all told they hadn't to comment badly about ANY Xansa work, had to always make positive comments about anything.....and each covered the other Xansa people's backs even though some of their staff were awful. Other non-Xansa contractors were treated like the scum of the earth, and were virtually attacked as being incompetent at every opportunity.
A number of times I went to recruit someone, and the people they offered for interview were terrible, all the experience was theory - lots of courses, but ask a real question and they didn't know much.
Overall....wouldn't touch with a bargepoll....IMOComment

If you aint got anything else lined up then just watch your back (and contract), but if there's other stuff I'd seriously think about it.....
I know they played the reduce your rate or you'll be replaced by on / offshore replacements too with any of their contractors who were being retained for a length of time.....Comment

SA, I got an offer for a role through Xansa end of last year, only when it came to the contract signing it was a joke - I couldn't accept the Ts&Cs in the contract as according to my accountant some of the terms may leave me within the IR35, I tried to negotiate, but their legal department was very strict about it and would not change the T&C, therfore I had to take another contract with a different agency.
