I had an agency send me a job spec (in the post!).
Wanted: Graduate
Salary: £25k
Location: Not Specified
I mean wtf? Did you even read my CV. Did you read the bit about me doing the whole graduate thing and not getting on with then heading off into the wide blue yonder to make a real living.
I forwarded it to el duder as I though he might like it. Plus I get my £50 if he completes 6 months!Comment

Had an agency phone me yesterday, Tex'd me three times first, which I ignored.
1Hr later they phoned me.
Q. Would I be interested in 2 days work ? (2 feckin days)
A. Explained that I now had my own business with 7 employees.
Q. would I still be interested ?
A. No!
Q. Would any of my qualified employees be interested ?
A. If any of them were, you could keep the idiot
We could make a very lucrative offer, we could help find you contracts and contractors, we have hundreds of contractors available on our books
A. I don't know who you people are, I've never used you, I don't know how you got my mobile No and frankly I'm not that interested. Why don't you call one of hundreds of contractors that you have available on your books, Sorry have to go, busy. (disconnect)

I had an agent ring me, said they have a contract I would be suitable for.
Ask my rate, I told them
Ask if I was flexible
How flexible
About half
I laughed
He hung up
Probably will never ring me again.Fiscal nomad it's legal.Comment
