What a horrible, horrible place!
I'd seriously worry about the mentality of ANYONE who thought Brussels was anything other than a fake, empty, soulless plague of a city.

Day 1 was reasonably funny - we all laughed at how bad it was, how rude everyone was to us, how terrible the weather was, how grotty the hotels were, and how little there was to do there.
Day 2 we were bored with laughing at it. We did ALL of the touristy things in the space of about an hour....well I exagerate, we didn't quite make it to the Musical Instrument Museum.
Then the tarrential rain sopped, and the oppresive heat started...and the only decent pubs had no air conditioning.
Horrendous.
Day 3 - just utter tulip. We tried to get home but the eurostar had no seats left. 2 of the lads in the group had the sh*ts all day and couldn't leave the apartment (including my lad). The other lasses had both fell out with their lads...I was p*ssed off with most of them. We just fell to pieces really.
Day 4 - today. Freedom at last!!!! Dying to come home.....to this mother ******* smoking ban and 2 floors of soaking floorboards, plus all my make up and bags all ruined.
Still, lets look on the bright side - I geto go to work tomorrow for 4 days until I'm on the bench again.

HTHI remember the good old days of this site when people used to moan about serious contractor related issues like house prices and immigration. How times have changed!?Comment
