Anyway.........my choice is for human billboards....what is the point
They try and engage you in light banter, turn the tap on, put soap on your hands, give you a paper towel to dry, offer you aftershave or a lollipop and then expect a pound coin in their tray

Also shout out 'freshen up for de punani' or other witty phrases

Human billboards strange too - can see their purpose but who would do it

Advertising isn't necessarily about making an immediate sale, it's equally about brand awareness. Although I take your point in the context of, for example, "Bazza's Pawnbrokers, Make ££££'s from your Jewellery And Watches, Turn Left down the Alley".

thats partly my point, why would you want your brand associated with using human billboards unless you want a sh1te reputation and a downmarket image.......porn shops exempt I guess

People who stand around with a huge "Golf Sale" sign on a long pole

the 8 out of 10 "road engineers" who stand around watching the other 2 doing all the work

                    People in club toilets

It's true, but I must say swissmike has come across more value-adding ones than me. Banter and aftershave? luxury.

I also believe they have to pay the club for the pitch. So do spare them a thought next time you think your contract is rubbish!
